A view of Manhasset Bay from the MBEA Beach

Manhasset Bay Estates is a community of 280 homes located in the southwest corner of Port Washington, New York.

The area is very quiet and picturesque with little traffic and many mature trees, yet is also located close to shopping areas, major roadways, and the Port Washington LIRR train station.

The Manhasset Bay Estates Association (MBEA) is the homeowners' association for the Estates. The Association owns waterfront property on Manhasset Bay. Residents whose mandatory association dues have been paid are able to use the facilities at the waterfront, which include a beach, dock, picnic tables, benches, a play gym for kids, and a pond. They also have mooring rights on the Bay, and there is space at the beach for storing small boats such as kayaks and dinghies.

The functions of the MBEA include maintaining the beach, working with the Town of North Hempstead to maintain the park, and organizing social events throughout the year.

The neighborhood also contains Merriman Park, which features a playground, basketball court, and a baseball field.
