2010 Events

  • Special Note: Volunteers Needed for All Events
  • Volunteers are needed to make all of these events happen. Please send email to board@mbayestates.org or call 767-2299 if you are interested in volunteering.
  • Annual Beach Cleanup / Breakfast
  • Our annual beach cleanup and breakfast will be held on Saturday, May 21st, 2011 from 10am to 12:30pm.
  • Annual General Membership Meeting
  • The 2011 Annual Meeting for all members will be held on Wednesday, May 25th from 7:30pm to 9pm at the Port Washington Library.
  • Saturday Evening in the Park
  • It's almost summer so come spend a relaxing evening in our Merriman Park on Saturday, June 11th, 2010 from 6-7:30 pm. We will provide hot and cold hors d'oeuvres from MBEA Member Matt Blass' great Sea Cliff Bagel Cafe. Bring your own beverages, blankets, and lawn chairs. Rain date: Sunday, June 12th
  • Annual Beach Party & Kayaking
  • The 2011 annual MBEA Beach Party will take on Saturday, July 30th from noon to 3:30pm. Join us at the beach for pony rides, castle bounce, and cotton candy for the kids, and food and drink for all. Kayaks and professional instructors will also be available at no charge (the minimum age for kayaking is 13). Enjoy beautiful views of Manhasset Bay and spend time with friends and neighbors. Rain date: Sunday, July 31st
  • Pizza Party and Snapper Derby
  • Meet at the MBEA Beach on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 from 12pm to 2pm for a pizza party. On the MBEA dock there will be a snapper derby for young anglers. Bring your own pole and we will supply the bait. Prizes and fun for the whole family.
  • Annual MBEA Holiday Party
  • This event will be held on Sunday, December 4th 2011 from 12pm to 2:30pm. A great party and a delicious buffet, with entertainment, crafts, and special surprises for the children. More details to follow.
